- Butterfly Highway Planting Days:
- Build Days: Help Construct the buildings, planting beds and garden structures.
- Sticks and Stones: Family Friendly Volunteering to pick up rocks and sticks in the new planting areas to help clear the garden to begin growing plants.
- Diggin in the Dirt: Kid Friendly Family Volunteering where kids get to seed, plant, weed and mulch in the garden.
- The Harvest from Home: Harvest Plant and Cuttings from home and bring them to the farm gardens to help create a beautiful landscape areas for everyone to enjoy.
- Saturday Volunteering for fun or community service: Sign-up to Volunteer on Saturdays and earn credit for court, school or other community service. 2- hour and 5-hour shifts available
- Custom Scheduling for Community Service: Contact our Farm Team to create custom hours that will fit in your work, life or school schedule. Available Monday to Friday.

GROUP VOLUNTEERING
Your organization can help by doing a group volunteer day at the farm. Book a day or a few hours. Create a Legacy Project with Your Organization’s Name. Do a tool drive or fundraiser at your organization. Your Organization can also do a potluck, picnic or catered lunch at the farm for fun and team building after the volunteer day. Interns
Become an intern at the Honey Hut and help save the Bees. Earn School Credit or Gain Experience by working with our Bee Keeping and Nursery Teams. Interns work to care for the Bees, Work the Bee Shop, Lead or Assist in Classes, and work in the Native Plant, Flower and Pollinator Nursery to help grow plants for bees, forest and for a healthy ecosystem in NC.
